First Lady, Madam Theresa Kufuor has visited the national women's team, the Black Queens at their training camp at Prampram in the Dangme West District of the Greater Accra Region.
The Queens who are currently in camp at the Ghananam Soccer Centre of Excellence are preparing for this weekend's Beijing 2008 qualifier against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa.
Madam Kufuor called on the team to go all out against their South African counterparts to ensure total victory to keep their dreams of making their first ever appearance at the Mundial on tract and also urged them to raise high the flag of Ghana during the fifth FIFA Women's World Cup scheduled for China next month.
She also used the occasion to congratulate the team for their lone goal victory over the Super Falcons of Nigeria at the El-wak Stadium in Accra two weeks ago.
The victory was the Queen's first ever at home over the continent's most successful women's team, the falcons.
Mr Osei Bonsu Amoah, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports who accompanied the First Lady also urged them to take their training serious to chalk further successes.
Meanwhile, the Queens are expected to leave for Johannesburg on Wednesday for this weekend's game against the Banyana Banyana.
The Ghanaians, who top the four team league on six points remain the only unbeaten team so far in the qualifiers.
