The Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam has extended a helping hand to patients at the Tamale Teaching Hospital in the Northern region ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.

Dr. Adam's visit to the hospital on April 9, 2024, brought joy and comfort to patients who are undergoing treatment during this festive period.

During his visit, he donated 200 packs of assorted food items to patients, towards the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.

This thoughtful gesture did not only brought smiles to the faces of patients but also provided them with a sense of community and support during their time of need.

The donation of food items by Dr. Adam underscores his commitment to ensuring that patients at the Tamale Teaching Hospital receive not only medical care but also social and nutritional support. As the hospital serves as a referral center for the Northern Region of Ghana and neighboring countries, such gestures of kindness play a significant role in uplifting the spirits of patients and their families, traveling from near and far.

The CEO of the hospital expressed his gratitude for Dr. Adam's generous donation, emphasizing the importance of community support in providing holistic care to patients.

He highlighted the challenges faced by patients who are away from their families during festive occasions and praised Dr. Adam for his efforts to bring some joy and comfort to their lives.

Additionally, the Minister donated 10 water tanks, each with a capacity of 10,000 liters, to bolster the hospital's water supply infrastructure.

He also pledged to provide dialysis machines to the hospital to help in healthcare delivery.
