Fidelity Bank Ghana has donated GH¢200,000 to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) to help vulnerable Ghanaians living with chronic non-communicable diseases access specialised medical care.

The donation is intended to support patients who face financial difficulties in paying for critical treatment, with the two institutions highlighting the role of private-sector support in bridging gaps in access to healthcare.

Presenting the funds, Deputy Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Kwabena Boateng, said the Bank regarded good health as an essential foundation for national development.

He pledged Fidelity Bank’s continued support for initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery and helping vulnerable patients obtain the specialised care they require.

GMTF Administrator Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku thanked Fidelity Bank for the support, describing it as a timely intervention.

She assured the Bank that the funds would directly support patients, save lives and make a lasting difference to vulnerable Ghanaians. “Every contribution counts. Every life matters,” she said.
