Fidelity Bank applauds Black Satellites

Fidelity Bank over the weekend presented GH¢10,000.00 to the Black Satellites at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, in support of the team's sterling performance that saw them win gold. The presentation was in fulfillment of the Bank’s pledge of support to the team before they left for the recently held U-20 FIFA World Cup Tournament in Egypt. Mr. Jim Baiden, Deputy Managing Director of Fidelity Bank who made the presentation said the Bank was committed to supporting the Sports Council with its plans of providing motivation for Ghana’s sportsmen and women who continue to lift the flag of the country high in world sporting events. He said Fidelity Bank was very happy with the heroic performance of the Black Satellites and for that matter was very proud to be associated with the team because Fidelity Bank is a winning Bank. “A physically strong people are very essential in the development of every nation and we at Fidelity share this assertion. We are happy to identify ourselves with this success because our Bank is a success group also” Mr. Baiden said. Mr. Baiden also said the Bank will continue to support the team because the Bank is always happy supporting worthy causes such as health, education and sports. Thanking the bank on behalf of the Satellites team, Latif Salifu, who also plays for Liberty Professionals said they are very grateful and are greatly inspired by the kind gesture. He assured the Bank and the entire nation that the Black Satellites are committed to making Ghanaians happy and proud.
