Felix Afena-Gyan was in a jubilant mood during AS Roma's first team presentation ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The presentation took place at the Stadio Olimpico which seats over 70,000 fans. First team players trooped onto the pitch one after the other with each player choosing a unique entrance song.
Ghana's Afena-Gyan who rose to prominence in the 2021/22 season chose to make his entrance with Shatta Wale's most recent hit 'On God'.

The 19-year-old has never hidden his love for Shatta Wale and it comes as no surprise he chose a song that epitomises his journey so far.

'On God' focuses on resilience and perseverance; two characteristics that depict what the striker has gone through in order to reach the top.
Afena-Gyan had a 2022 to remember making his Black Stars debut before later receiving the Odartey Lamptey Future Star and Calcio Trade Ball Most Promising Footballer of the year awards.
