Matchday 26 had some intriguing, table-shaping results.
But not for everyone, for Hearts stayed 15th despite winning at Dansoman.
And now the details...
Lions 5-0 BA United
BA United's return season back into the Ghana top flight has ended in relegation with four matches still left for them, it is official.
The Brong Ahafo Region side were sent packing following Wednesday's comprehensive 5-0 whitewash by Heart of Lions in Kpando which confirmed that they cannot catch up with none of the sides still in the relegation zone even with 12 points still on offer.
BA United stay on their 18 points from now 26 games and even if they win all four remaining games, the Apostles of Power Soccer can only amass a maximum of 30 points, two short of the 32 currently accumulated by next to bottom, Hearts of Oak and 14th spot, Great Olympics who have 33.
It sums up a disgraceful season for the former hotshots of Ghana football who changed coaches three times, fell out with their Chairman and had their players even accused by their own coach, Gargo Mohammed of betting on their league games. Gargo of course lasted the shortest stint in Ghanaian league history following his dismissal after just one game in charge.
Lions meanwhile, save their blushes and maintain their quest to survive the scare of relegation, albeit still only a point above the drop zone on 34 points with Great Olympics and Hearts of oak hot on their heels with a mere four matches to go for all teams.
Lions next continue their push for survival away to Sekondi Hasaacas when the already relegated BA United host also relegation threatened, New Edubiase in Sunyani.

Liberty 0-1 Hearts
Hearts of Oak pipped Liberty 1-0 at the Dansoman Park to boost their survival hopes.
Foovi Aguidi's 60th minute strike made the difference as the Phobians ended their two game winless streak. In the early minutes of the game, the Phobians caught Liberty in the cold but they failed to utilize the chance they had and Alfred Nelson in the heart of the home side defense curtailed the danger the away side posed.
The aggressiveness on the part of the Phobians in their quest of beating the relegation drop continued as they bombarded Liberty with a lot of ferocious attack and in the 10th minute Foovi Aguidi missed the best chance in the game, the Togolese import dammy two Liberty defenders and had goalkeeper Daniel Adjei at his mercy but the latter shot the ball into the waiting hands of the former Black Satellites goalie.
The Phobians won the midfield battle as the leading marksman of the Dansoman based club, Kennedy Ashia had Sabbah Laryea to contest with. The away side created a lot of goal scoring opportunities but they failed to hit the back of the net.
Liberty gathered the momentum and push Hearts of Oak back, Kennedy Ashia 25 yard strike was palmed away by Tetteh Lugard, the home side started to find space at the Phobians back four as the Latif Blessing tormented Isaac Oduro with his pace and skills.
Eddie Ansah was forced to make his first substitution after Seidu Mutawakilu came on for injured Tetteh Lugard in the 32nd minute. Both sides failed to get on the score sheet as the first half ended 0-0.
From recess, the Phobians continued were they left off as they dominated the home side but their final delivery was poor but they never got despaired with their attacking mentality and in the 60th minute mark they broke the deadlock through Foovi Aguidi after he was thread by Eric Kumi.
The Phobians thus boost their hope of surviving in the ongoing First Capital Plus Bank Premier League as their next league game is against Bechem United at the Accra sports stadium.

Wa All Stars drew level with just 2 minutes into the 2 half through Kwaku Asuandze’s volley to catch goalkeeper, Ofori Antwi off-guard.
Ahmed Toure, who was quite in the first half after coming on, announced his presence in the second half by connecting Jackson Owusu’s inswing to restore Kotoko’s lead in the 56 minute.
Obed Owusu sealed the doom of the Wa lads in the 65 minute, when he scored from a rebound, after goalkeeper Baba Musa failed to grab Ahmed Toure’s shot.

Aduana 2-0 Hasaacas
Aduana Stars' chase for another league title is back on very strongly following Wednesday's 2-0 victory over Sekondi Hasaacas on match day 26 of the 2015 Ghana Premier League season.
The three points garnered ensures that the 2009 champions moved unto 44, just a point behind long-time leaders, Ashantigold who could only draw goalless at Bechem United and now have 45.
With four games left in the Ghanaian top flight campaign, Aduana's chase for a second Ghana title reaches a crescendo amid putting a lot of pressure on the league leading Miners as the season enters the stretch.
When the First Capital Plus Bank competition returns at the league centres on Sunday with match day 27, Aduana will seek to overtake Ashantigold at home to relegation threatened Great Olympics should Ashgold stutter in their own home fixture against Medeama SC.

Medeama 2-1 WAFA
Medeama came from behind to steal all three points under the noses of West Africa Football Academy on match week 26 of the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League at the Tarkwa T and A Park on Wednesday.
Benjamin Batture was the hero in Takwa when it seemed both sides will settle for a point. There was nothing to separate both sides until he stepped up and stole the show.
WAFA, tipped as the dark horses to clinch the premier league title, were on a mission of causing an upset to keep the pundits hopes of getting the right calls. They stepped onto the pitch and went about their business with calm and composure.
They quickly got their noses in front in the 20th minute through Mumuni Zakaria who was a nemesis for Medeama all afternoon, but leading FCPL goal poacher, Nathanial Asamoah struck his 18th goal from the spot on the 33rd minute to draw Medeama level.
Both sides rose up and gave fans an end-to-end action. Medeama needed a good result badly to avoid dropping to the relegation zone and gave their all to give WAFA a tough game.
