Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says he loves playing with Black Stars teammate Jordan Ayew following the latter's arrival at Leicester City.
Jordan joined the Foxes this summer after a long spell with Crystal Palace joining Fatawu Issahaku at the King Power Stadium.
The forward's addition is seen as one that would improve Leicester following their promotion to the Premier League.
Having played with each other in the first four games of the season, both Issahaku and Jordan have teamed up in the Black Stars camp ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
"He [Jordan Ayew] is always a senior player and I love playing with him. He always guides and gives you more advice and even outside and inside [on] the pitch so I’m happy," Issahaku told the media during the team's first training session on Thursday.
"I think it’s going to be easier for me playing with him both in the national team and club."
Ghana's game against Angola is scheduled for September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium while they will face Niger four days later in Berkane, Morocco.
