The Chief Executive Officer of Fashion Vault Company Limited, Fredaline Asiedu has been adjudged the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the just ended Ghana Youth Leadership and Business Awards held in Accra.
On the same night, her company won the Start-up Company of the Year Awards to crown the night.
The prestigous awards were in recognition of her dedication and commitment in building the fashion and creative arts industry, as well as being a highly respected company advocating for best business practices in the sector.
Speaking to the media after receiving the honour, Ms. Asiedu expressed gratitude to her family, friends and cherished clients who have in diverse ways supported the dream to this level.
She took the opportunity to urge the young ones to keep investing in their dreams since it will one day all will pay off.
"I am very grateful for this important recognition this evening. I think is a podium for me to encourage all young people to follow their dreams. I ventured into banking and in the process I realized, there was something else more of passion burning inside me and I went in for it. Thus how come I started Fashion Vault. I thank God for this recognitions and sincerely grateful simply because it means I am doing something meaningful”.
Fredaline Asiedu is an advocate for women empowerment and has worked with Guaranty Trust Bank Ghana Limited as Relationship Manager and a Deputy Operations Manager for over seven years.
Her business and activities have positively impacted the youth and society at large because some young women have gained employment opportunities, entrepreneurial skills and education on best financial practices through her.
She was nominated for the 2022 Forty Under 40 Awards in fashion category.
She organised trade seminar to guide and enlighten traders and young women on how to successfully manage their Entrepreneurship lives as well as the necessity of saving and reinventing into their businesses for profitable returns.
