A 40 year old farmer of Gbi-Abansi near Hohoe, Yaw Danso has appeared before the Hohoe Magistrate Court for conduct conducive to breach of peace.
Danso, who pleaded not guilty, has been committed to a one million cedi bail with a surety to be justified.
He is to re-appear on March 5, this year.
Police Chief Inspector Emmanuel Kpodo, prosecuting told the Court presided over by Janet Awo Bakudie that on June 24, 2006, Danso insulted Evelyn Shiaby, his neighbour that "You are a prostitute" and
claimed to have fondled her genitals.
He said Danso reigned insults on Shiaby, when she refused to admit him into her room, ostensibly to have sex after a drinking spree, which lasted into the early hours of June 25.
Chief Inspector Kpodo said Danso who had paid for the drinks, Shiaby and her friends had taken became furious and threatened to teach her a lesson for snubbing him.
