A 47-year-old prominent farmer in the Atwima Mponua District, Kofi Tetegah who was reported missing about a month ago, was on Tuesday found dead in a forest at Anyinamso Number Two near Nyinahin in the Atwima Mponua District.
The decomposed body of Tetegah was found hanging on a tree.
When the Ghana News Agency visited the scene with police personnel, some family members and elders of the town, a mobile phone and an empty DDT bottle were found close to where the deceased hanged himself.
Mr. Francis Ameho told the GNA that about a month ago the deceased left the house without telling anybody where he was going.
He said when he failed to return home after some days, a search party was detailed to look for him but to no avail until Tuesday when some hunters found his body on the tree.
