As the long-standing face of breakfast TV, Lorraine Kelly is familiar to male fans as a 'yummy mummy'.
And despite her fellow fiftysomething contemporaries turning to surgery and Botox, the ITV star has no plans to go under the knife.
Instead, the mother-of-one - who was named a OBE in the New Year's Honour's list - prefers a good diet and skincare regime to fight the wrinkles.
She tells the February issue of Good Housekeeping: 'The thing is, if you go on a diet, you’re denying yourself. At the moment, I’m looking after myself as a bit of maintenance.
'Expensive skin creams are a hell of a lot cheaper than a facelift! I would never go there, I’m too scared.'
Since turning 50 two years ago, Kelly admits she feels more comfortable in her skin than ever before.
She said: 'I feel better than I have done in years.'
Although admitting to exercising, she insists it isn't a huge priority for her and she simply works out when she can find the time.
She explains: 'I somehow manage to fit in watching Coronation Street and Downton Abbey all the time, so if I can do that, surely I can fit in some exercise.'
As the host of her own magazine show Lorraine, the presenter hosts the show four days a week.
Her shorter working week means she can split her time between her London flat and her family home near Dundee, Scotland.
Years ago, she decided to commute via planes between the two cities, rather than relocate her whole family to England.
And despite interviewing some of the world's biggest celebrities on her sofa, she prefers being at home in Scotland with husband Steve Smith and their 18-year-old daughter Rosie.
She remarked: 'Much as I like talking to the likes of Colin Firth on television, the highlight of my week could be taking Rosie on the school run or walking our dog Rocky on the beach with Steve.
