President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantekyi says a Ghanaian Coach is capable of taking over the Black Stars job with the necessary technical and tactical upgrade and certification.
The FA since 2006 has formulated a development plan to empower indigenous coaches to take over all the national teams in the immediate future.
The FA President Kwesi Nyantekyi has told Joy Sports come next season local coaches will be given the opportunity to under study coaches in Europe.
“We have an elaborate training programme and we hope that within the shortest possible time we will have many people being eligible to handle the Black Stars team,” he said.
He said the training programme also includes women who will acquire the necessary experience and exposure to compete for coaching positions in the country.
