Organisers of the MTN FA Cup committee has replied Asante Kotoko on their concerns over the poor nature of the Tumu Park which is supposed to host their FA Cup round of 32 encounter against Real 24 Hours this Saturday.
The management of Asante Kotoko wrote to the committee arguing that the game was originally scheduled to be played at Wa, so they don’t understand why the change of venue to Tumu and they would only play at the new venue when it passes the standards set by the Club Licensing Board.
The Cup committee has quickly move to solve the situation by notifying Kotoko that the Tumu Park meets the minimum requirements.
According to them, the park is walled and has a good inner perimeter fence to host the game.
So what this means is that the game will be played at the Tumu Park on Saturday.
This will be the first time the lower division side will play Kotoko in a competitive game.
