Expose evil!

The Bishop of the Tema Methodist Diocese, the Right Reverend Samuel Achamfour-Yeboah, has called on Ghanaians especially Christians to muster courage to expose evil in the society for the nation to have a brighter future. He said that if they continued to be silent over evil deals in the homes and workplaces, it would plunge the nation into jeopardy, which would not augur well for the future generation. The Bishop was preaching at a service to mark the opening of the three-day fifth biennial delegate's conference of the Tema Diocesan Methodist Guild at the Saint Paul's Methodist Cathedral in Tema on the theme ""Have faith in the Lord". The Rt. Rev. Achamfour-Yeboah called for honesty and faithfulness in all their endeavour, saying anything they did with evil intention was not likely to end well. He said: "In the homes mothers encourage their daughters to get into relations with married men while at the workplaces employees get corrupted and steal government properties all carried out in the full glare of people yet they fear to expose them". To have peace of mind, he entreated all to live by faith in God, obey his commandments and stand firm because there was always a light at the end of every tunnel. The Diocesan Guild President, Mr Michael Ntsiabah Mensah, called for discipline, commitment, sincerity and dedication on the part of members to be able to correct mistakes in the Church, society and the nation. He said the Guild had plans to undertake outreach evangelism at Juapong, Hohoe, Awudome and Peki. The Diocesan Lay Chairman, Mr Ernest Odame-Adams, urged the members to pay their contribution to the Methodist Development Fund for the construction of schools, chapels and other social activities.
