The stadium is being enlarged as part of a £260m scheme that will see capacity increased by an extra 13,000 seats by the start of next season.
According to tour guides at the Anfiled Stadium, during the recent Standard Chartered Trophy Global tournament, the main stand will also have a new concourse outside the ground and a relocation of the Hillsborough Memorial, which occupies a special place in the club's history.
The Shankly Gates named after the clubs most celebrated manager's Bill Shankly, will also be relocated. Fans will also experience new lounges, corporate boxes, ticket offices and shops.
