The GFA Executive Committee has approved the Match review panel’s recommendation to suspend Referee J.A. Amenya for six matches with effect from Match day 20 of the First Capital Plus Premier League.
In the Premier League Match day 14 game between Olympics and Hearts of Oak, Referee Amenya denied Hearts of Oak a penalty in the 11th minute of the first half when an Olympics defender fouled a Hearts of Oak attacker in the penalty box.
The said match was played on at the Accra Stadium on 26th April, 2015.
