The life patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has constituted a new Board to oversee the running of the Club.
The board, headed by former Chief Executive of Tema Oil Refinery Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong has been charged among other things to ensure Kotoko is run on firm commercial lines.
Dr. K.K Sarpong who accepted the mandate from Otufuo has promised radical changes in the club in the next few days.
“We are going to run the club professionally and on sound commercial lines. It involves building some structures and we will be evaluated within the framework of a strategic plan.
He said technical and business minds will drafted into the team.
The Board has also been tasked to form a management team to run the day to day business of the club and suggestions that the Alhaji Inje led team will be retained looks unlikely according to close source at Manhyia.
