Swedish trainer Kim Lars Bjorkegren picked up his first win as Black Queens head coach in the friendly against Senegal.
Evelyn Badu scored the only goal of the game as Ghana defeated Senegal in the first of two friendlies on Saturday, April 5, in Dakar.
The French-based midfielder netted from a Princess Marfo left-footed cross to hand the Black Queens their first win under the new boss.

Bjorkegren made two changes to the team that started the game against Morocco during the last international break.
Germany-based Josephine Bonsu was handed her first starting berth alongside Badu.
The Queens threatened in the opening minutes of the game but couldn't find a way past the opposition's defence.
However, in the 35th minute, Princess made a daunting run down the left flank before finding Badu with a cross, the latter making no mistake from close range as she headed home the opening goal.
Ghana came back from recess looking to double their lead but were reduced to 10 as Anasthesia Achiaa was sent off after picking up a second yellow card.
Cynthia Konlan was forced into a good save as she tipped the ball onto the crossbar before gathering the rebound.
Despite a late attempt, Senegal were unable to draw level as Ghana picked up the victory.
The win was also the team's first since beating Namibia in December 2023 during the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Qualifiers.
The two teams will face off again on April 8 before the end of the international window.
