Andre Ayew’s Swansea City moved into the relegation zone of the English Premier League log after the Swans failed to beat West Ham United at the Liberty Stadium.

Swansea City’s hard-fought battle under caretaker boss Alan Curtis could only earn them a point on Sunday as both teams failed to find the back of the net in the goalless draw stretching their winless run to seven games.

This Swans were frustrated for large parts of the game as they found it hard to break down a well-organized West Ham backline.

Ayew missed the chance to open the scoring when he headed wide from a brilliant Neil Taylor cross.

On Saturday, Jordan Ayew scored a superb second-half goal to earn his club a priceless point at Newcastle.

The former Lorient man drove a curler into the top corner from just inside the area to cancel out Fabricio Coloccini's close-range opener.

The goal was Jordan’s fourth since joining the Villians and arguably his best so far.

Full back Abdul Baba Rahman failed to get an opportunity to show new boss Guus Hiddink the stuff he is made off  as he was benched for the entire duration of the 3-1 game against  Sunderland.

The game was Chelsea’s first after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

Chistian Atsu and Jeffrey Schlupp failed to make the Bournemouth and Leicester match squads respectively as the duo recuperate from injury.
