Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh will lead a government delegation to this year’s Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2021 in Houston, Texas, USA, which begins on 16th August and ends on 19th August, 2021
The Ghanaian delegation include senior officials from the Energy Ministry and various sector agencies as well as other international exploration and service companies.
Meetings with high ranking personalities from companies in the oil and gas sector in Texas are also on the agenda, together with an engagement with the Ghanaian community in Houston.
On Wednesday 18th August, 2021, Dr. Opoku Prempeh will deliver a keynote address at the West Africa Oil and Gas Forum on ‘US-West Africa: Sharing Prosperity in Oil and Gas Resources’.
The OTC provides for an exhibition by vaious countries and institutions and Ghana’s key exhibitors include the Energy Ministry, the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, GOIL, National Petroleum Authority, the Petroleum Commision, Ghana Gas Company Limited and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, among others, all with the view to attracting investments into the country.
