Black Stars midfielder Elisha Owusu has agreed a contract extension with Ligue 2 winners Auxerre that will see him at the club until 2027.
As Auxerre's vice-captain, Owusu has decided to commit his future to the club following their promotion to the French top flight.
He made 33 appearances in Ligue 2 last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.

Owusu joined Auxerre in 2021, but a nasty Achilles injury kept him sidelined for the rest of a Ligue 1 season that saw the club relegated.
He, however, bounced back from injury last season to became a pivotal part of Auxerre's set up.
With the help of Black Stars compatriot Gideon Mensah, Owusu helped guide the team back into Ligue 1.
