He noted the confidence expressed by political representatives at various polling stations as a testament to the collective determination to uphold peace and unity.

“It is 1 p.m. now, and our team has already visited about 320 polling stations across Northern Ghana. We have spoken to EC staff, security personnel, political party representatives, and voters, and all I can say preliminarily is, so far so good,” he said.
Leading a 120-member NDDI independent observer team, Naa Tapha Mahamadu III, who is also the Paramount Chief of Dalun in the Northern Region, urged stakeholders to sustain the maturity and good faith demonstrated so far.

The NDDI Chairman also praised the Electoral Commission for its efforts, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in safeguarding Ghana’s peace and progress.

He indicated that the NDDI will continue to monitor the exercise across the entire Northern Ghana to support all stakeholders to work and produce an electoral outcome that reflects the will of the people of Ghana.
