Hearts new coach Ayman El Yamani has vowed to build a formidable team comparable to the unbeatable Hearts side which won the Caf champions league and the Super Cup.
He has also pledged to end the North African stranglehold on caf organised club competitions.
The 59 year old Egyptian had his first training session with the Phobians on Tuesday after being outdoored just last week.
In an interview with Joy Sports, the former Swaziland National Team Coach said he will prepare a side capable of taking the continent by storm.
Even though Hearts of Oak are defending league champions, they are a pale shadow of the 1999/2000 squad led by Emmanuel Osei Kufuor, Charles Taylor and Ishmael Addo.
With a less than impressive outing in the just ended MTN Top4 competition, coach El Yamani has a lot of work to do before the season commences in October 18.
He however appears unfazed by the challenge.
