Eight-man search team to find new Ghana coach

Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi heads an eight-man team expected to scrutinize the over 120 coaches who have applied for the vacant Ghana job. The search team which includes FA vice president Fred Pappoe, Randy Abbey, Fred Crentsil and Awuah Nyamakye will begin work next week. Former Black Stars coach Sam Arday, Executive committee member, George Afriyie and technical director Francis Oti Akenteng completes the team. 2002 World Cup winner Luis Felipe Scolari and former Tottenham and Sevilla boss Juande Ramos are the frontrunners for the job. Ex-France captain Marcel Dessaily could make the shortlist. The Ghana FA has confirmed it will appoint Milovan Rajevac’s successor by the end of the year. Source: Ghanasoccernet.com
