Anthony Commey's take on why Edubiase could not finish off Great Olympics on Wednesday is concise - and it speaks about how their season has gone.
They conceded twice after scoring twice on Wednesday and the coach believes a lack of defensive organisation is a key factor for the 2-2 draw against the Wonder Club.
"We were supposed to win this match but it ended being a draw despite the fact that it was very good match," he reflected at the Accra Sports Stadium as the first round of the First Capital Plus Premier League came to an end.
Commey’s team - with a defense of Iddrisu Yahaya, James Boadu, Malik Tahiru and Felix Afriyie - twice took the lead through goals from Bernard Ofori but each time Olympics clawed back to draw.
He went on: "I must admit that errors happen in football but we committed two today. We lost concentration in the build up to the first goal and even more evident in the second because the players did not know who was to clear the loose ball."
Another talking point was when Olympics got a controversial penalty, eventually missed by the experienced Dan Quaye.
"On the penalty, it would unlike me to talk about referees but you saw that the call was a soft one."
Commey is a man looking at the stats, as he showed by pointing out how Edubiase's goal distribtuion has been so far that has lead them to 15th on the log.
"We have given away the most goals but we have also scored the most goals. We need to go back and see how we can improve for the second half [of the season]."
The club have scored 21 goals (joint top number with Medeama) in 15 matches, but conceded 27.
