Renowned playwright and director, Uncle Ebo Whyte, and Roverman Productions' newest theatrical production, Dubai Or No Sex, comes off this weekend.
The play tells the story of Adwoa who finds herself increasingly influenced by the apparent success of Simon, her husband's junior, leading her to make unreasonable demands of her husband.
She wants a fancier car, a more luxurious lifestyle and vacations in exotic destinations like Dubai instead of Kwahu, which her husband prefers.
Meanwhile, Barnabas, her husband rejects a wonderful opportunity to make millions and make her dream come true. Adwoa then issues an ultimatum for her husband, one that has the potential to destroy their marriage, forever.
Dubai or No Sex delves into themes of honesty, integrity, and the impact of social media.
The play will run from March 29th to April 7th, 2024. For Fridays it is scheduled at 7 pm, Saturdays at 4 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 8 pm. Tickets are priced at GHC200.
Tickets can be purchased through the Korba shortcode *365*535# or at various outlets.
