Ghanaian Highlife Legend, Amakye Dede has revealed what it takes for one to be called a legend.
The ‘To be a man’ hit-maker says as long as one make very good use of the talent given and has lived up to expectations, he deserves to be honoured as such.
He made these comments during an interview with Becky in exclusive interview on E Vibes.
“If God gives you a chance to do something, you have to do it well so that people will appreciate it and they will give you the name Legend," he told JoyNews.
Amakye Dede began his career in 1973 when he joined the Kumapim Royals as a composer and vocalist.
This band, led by Akwasi Ampofo Agyei (AAA), had hits such as “Abebi Bewua Eso”, “Wanware Me A”, “Odo Mani Agyina”, and the seminal “Ohohoo Batani”.
