The Multimedia Group, last Saturday bagged six awards at the 2015 edition of the Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards.
Five personalities from the media group and one programme won honours in various categories at the awards which came off at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Joy FM’s News Night co-anchor, Dzifa Bampoh was adjudged Radio Newscaster of the Year (English Language) while TV Current Affairs Show Host of the Year went to Nana Ansah Kwao of pm: Express on JoyNews TV.
Patrick Osei Agyemang (Countryman Songo) won TV Sports Show Host of the Year while his show, Fire for Fire, on Adom TV was adjudged TV Sports Show of the Year.
Vim Lady, Afia Pokua of Adom FM was crowned Female Radio Host of the Year (Local Language). Radio Talk Show Host of the Year went to Kojo Asare Baffour Acheampong (Kaba) of Asempa FM.
Host of Adom Ahengua on Adom FM, Rev. Yaw Owusu-Ansah was inducted into the RTP Hall of Fame. Other personalities who were also inducted into the awards’ Hall of Fame are Kwami Sefa Kayi and Mrs. Betty Oppong Apau.
The awards, MCed by comedian DKB witnessed performances from Akatakyie, Quamy Zaggy, Bisa Kdei among others.
