The Presiding Bishop of the Christian Action Chapel, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, who is also the torchbearer of the charismatic movement in Ghana, Thursday delivered a terrifying revelation that President John Agyekum Kufuor might not live to finish his term of office that has just thirteen more months to run.
The spiritual warfare against the president has been planned in such a way that, before the NPP December 22 delegates congress, a major bloodshed may occur in the country's history to eliminate him.
Bishop Duncan-Williams attributed this prophetic revelation to spiritual orchestration from satanic forces within and outside the country that are bent on seeing the demise of the Gentle Giant.
He, therefore, declared Thursday at ‘Jericho Hour’, a prayer meeting organised by the church every Thursday morning, an intensive intercessory prayer for the president. On Friday, November 30, 2007, at the same premises, several hours of prayers are expected to be held to intercede for the president of the Republic.
Such was the seriousness of the prophesy, and the Man of God's concern for the national leader that, even though Duncan Williams was scheduled to arrive in the country Saturday December 1, 2007, he had to cut short his oversea trip to return to Ghana.
According to the fire brand spiritual leader, the accident that rocked Mr. Kufuor's motorcade at the Opeibea Junction here in Accra was not just an ordinary accident, but a spiritual orchestration, launched from both within and outside, targeted at the president. In the light of that, he explained that the driver of the car that hit the president's, Thomas Osei, was only a pawn used spiritually in an attempt to achieve the dastard objective of killing the national leader.
Touching on the internal arsenal, Bishop Duncan-Williams mentioned spiritual arrows directed from Sunyani and Seikwa, both in the Brong Ahafo region, to kill the First Gentleman of the land.
Other 'principalities' and 'powers' attacking the president internally, according to the seer, are of the rnan's own party persuasion, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who have hired mallams to dismiss their leader to the land of the dead.
In fact, he charged intercessory prayers for the president and the nation as some of the presidential aspirants had contracted and brought in mallams and juju men to help them ascend to the throne by first eliminating Kufuor who they consider a stumbling block.
The Action Faith Church founder warned that any aspirant who wants to attain the presidency through bloodshed will fail because there will be a boomerang effect on him to the extent that they may not live to become president.
There are forces working through thick and thin to spiritually paralyze the process of governance in these dying minutes of the Kufuor Administration, the man delivering the prophesy added, warning that, if the nation did not change and members of Parliament from both the Majority and Minority failed to turn to God in these trying times, the president might not see the end of his last term in office.
Bishop Duncan-Williams underscored the need for Ghanaians, especially people in government, to seek God's favour in these trying times of the country's history especially as the nation hosts the Ghana 2008 football fiesta. He again warned that, if Ghanaians did not pray, there would be another major accident that would involve President John Agyekum Kufuor.
