The Dufia of Ziope Traditional Area in the Agotime Ziope District, Torgbui Kpordoave IV and Fred Yao Aklasu have donated essential items to the Ziope Police Station.
The donation was targeted at enhancing the administration of the police and their services in ensuring law and order.
The benevolence gesture saw the presentation of a set of computers, an office desk and chair, ceiling fans, and renovation of the office space at the Ziope Police Station.
The Queen Mother of Ziope, Mama Ahalexorme III, who spoke on behalf of the donors underscored the commitment of the traditional authorities to lead the development of the traditional area.
She emphasized a shift in dynamics indicating that "gone are the days when chiefs solely received assistance. Now, our chiefs take charge of affairs and contribute directly to progress."
The Agotime Ziope District Crime Officer, Detective Alfred Mallan Nagbija, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Dufia, Mama Ahalexorme III, and Mr. Aklasu.
"This donation comes at a crucial time when the digitization of administrative tasks is essential. The new equipment and renovated office space will significantly enhance our operational efficiency and service delivery”, he said.
