A circuit court at Bibiani has remanded a 25-year-old driver for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old pupil at Sefwi-Dominibo.
Emmanuel Donkor alias Kwadwo Kaal pleaded not guilty and would re-appear on September 13.
Chief Inspector Alex Mensah told the court presided over by Mr. Kwaku Aboagye that on August 26, this year, the victim was returning from Church service when the accused spotted her.
He said Donkor invited the girl into his room under the pretext of sending her to buy bread for him.
Chief Inspector Mensah said when the girl entered the room the accused locked the door and forcibly had sex with her.
Prosecution said the victim reported her ordeal to her mother who also reported the matter to the police.
He said a medical report confirmed that the girl has been defiled.
