Dr. Victor Akrofi Kumoji, owner of a private cardiology hospital on the Switchback Road near Cantonment in Accra, has been burnt to death in a blaze.
The house which is situated on the same compound as his private hospital was razed down by fire this morning.
His brother John Larweh Kumoji told Joy News the charred body of Dr. Kumoji has been sent to the Police Hospital.
He said he received the message this morning (Tuesday) that his brother’s residence was on fire.
“I asked of my brother’s health and they said he died during the course of the fire and I am told he has been conveyed to the Police morgue.
“I am yet to find out tomorrow the state of the burnt. After the family meeting, we will take decision as to how best to arrange for his funeral.”
