Though Dr David Kofi Wuaku did not win the recent election to represent the Volta region in the Council of State election as anticipated, his remarkable contributions to the Volta Region continue to receive public applause.

Dr Wuaku’s philanthropic deeds, often conducted away from the spotlight, have brought hope to many. His support for underprivileged students, hospitals, and small traders is widely recognised.

“He has helped many people through school and supported hospitals, all without seeking publicity,” shared Daavi Esi from Keta.
Through his Lifeahead Vision Ministries, he has covered medical bills for the needy and supported farmers with essential resources to improve their livelihoods.
Empowering the Youth and Women
Dr Wuaku remains dedicated to empowering the youth. In March 2025, he will launch a leadership training programme focused on entrepreneurship, digital skills, and civic leadership. “His upcoming programme will inspire many young people,” said Richard, a youth leader in Hohoe.

Women’s empowerment is another pillar of his vision, with plans for business training and microloan programmes aimed at promoting financial independence for women-led enterprises.

Dr David Kofi Wuaku is fostering partnerships with Turkish investors to boost agro-processing and commercial farming, creating new markets for local businesses. Additionally, his vision for digital inclusion involves establishing IT training centres and providing merit-based scholarships to nurture local talent.
