The Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, has urged the public to avoid being exploited for electoral activities as the December elections approach.
He warned that anyone involved in such acts will face the full force of the law.
Speaking at the commissioning of the police station at Akyem-Manso in the Eastern region, the IGP says the police have implemented measures to help identify early warning signs and deal with them accordingly.
“Don’t be lured into creating confusion during the polls because my people will not spare you. Don’t forget that the people who will lure you to create confusion will switch off their phones when you are arrested, they will simply abandon you,” he warned.
