Hearts of Oak’s returnee playmaker Bernard Don Bortey has set his sights for a Black Stars call-up ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
He told Joy Sports Editor Ernest Koranteng, on Friday his recent form puts him in a better stead for a call up.
Bortey has sniffed out three goals in three appearances for the Phobians in the on-going MTN Top4 tournament bringing the title aspirations of the Phobians back alive.
The controversial player attributed his fine form to the handiwork of God, saying what he requests from God is what is granted him.
He was out of the radar for nearly three seasons following an abortive trip to Europe and made a return to Hearts of Oak with a bang.
He expects fairy tale season with the Phobians.
