President Mills has cautioned sports administrators and security officers against compromising safety regulations at the various stadia.
He has also asked teams and their supporters to compete in a friendly manner at all times.
The President was laying a wreath to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the May 9th stadium disaster which claimed about 126 lives in 2001.
