The items include customized metal stands, Veronica buckets, waste bins, wastewater basins, tissues, hand sanitisers, disinfectants and other detergents.

"The country and the world are on a crossroad, a period that has made tens of thousands succumb to the virus with even buoyant economies crumbling. So we thought it wise to help with our widow's mite," the Association said.

The campaign, he explained will be the Associations’ way to lead the entire nation to fight against the Covid-19.

“We would like to use this opportunity to salute our gallant Frontliners comprising the Ghana Health Service, the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Armed forces, the Ghana Navy and the Media”

The Association further said public education plays a major role in crisis management and control pandemics, hence its quest to collaborate with the media houses within the catchment areas for a “60-minute airtime per day sponsorship package” from Solar FM, Spark FM, Radio Visa and ATL FM.

“We are thankful to our media partners for the sponsorship slots and we are hopeful this opportunity will be of a great benefit to this nation,” he said.
