On long-haul international flights, customers can cross oceans and time zones while major sports moments unfold back home and around the world. Beginning this fall, Delta will give customers on international flights a new way to watch those moments—live from their own devices.
Through a new partnership with global sports marketing agency IMG, Delta Sync Wi-Fi will offer access to global sports programming via Sport 24’s live sports channels on international routes to and from the U.S.
It’s the latest example of how Delta Sync – the platform for entertainment, connection and experiences tailored to the journey, unlocked through free SkyMiles Membership – offers so much more than Wi-Fi.
The launch is the latest in Delta’s growing portfolio of connected sports experiences as the airline doubles down on its ambition to be the leading premium airline for sports fans.
| Sports are one of the many ways Delta creates meaningful connections with customers around the world. As the Official Airline of Champions, Delta partners with world-class organizations including Team USA, the WNBA, PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions, the Masters Tournament and professional and collegiate teams across its key markets. These partnerships help bring fans closer to the teams, athletes and moments they love while reflecting Delta’s commitment to excellence, innovation and world-class experiences both on the ground and in the air. |
Introducing Sport 24 on Delta Sync Wi-Fi
Sport 24 is the first and only dedicated live sports channel available on airlines and cruise ships around the world. Owned, operated and licensed by IMG, it brings international travelers access to around-the-clock live sports programming while they fly. Customers can log on to Delta Sync Wi-Fi with their SkyMiles credentials and connect to a web player featuring Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra channels. Not a SkyMiles Member yet? Join today for free.
