Some participants of the Deloitte ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Training have commended the professional services firm for the insightful and compelling training offered them.
They described the five days training as the best to happen to them as the experience and knowledge acquired will go in a long to impact activities at their respective work places.
Rodney Kingsley Clarke of Activa Insurance said the five days training by Deloitte Risk Department has been insightful and a very educative one.
“We have been going to trainings and engagements with other colleagues and people in the industry, but this has been an exemplary one”.
“We want to thank the team from Deloitte - myself and the rest of the team - and also want to state that whenever you have these sorts of trainings, we would love to be part of it”, said Mr. Clarke.
For his part, Kofi Darkwa of Ecobank Ghana said the objective of the training exceeded his expectation, adding, Deloitte’s impact has broadened the horizon of their knowledge.
He added that “it’s not just giving us the platform to know more but at least we have new friends and network with whom we can share ideas. So, it’s a great opportunity”.
“I’m also going to convince my boss that all the ISO Controllers in the Internal Control Department are given the opportunity to attend this programme. So, we will collaborate with each other and ensure that our system is very compliant and the regulators requirements are met”, he mentioned.
King A who joined virtually from Sierra Leone, said, the Deloitte ISO Implementer training was one the trainings that he was given the chance to express his opinions and engage the discussants on various issues.
“So, I’m very grateful to the team from Deloitte and I look forward to some of these trainings. This time around maybe a refresher course since technology is evolving day in and day out. I believe this is going to be an impactful training for my colleagues and I who participated in the training”.
Background of ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Training
The Deloitte ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Training enabled information security professionals to acquire the requisite skills and knowledge to support their respective organisations to plan, implement, manage, monitor and maintain Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
This is in line with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard.
The training focused on the fundamental principles and concepts of ISMS, planning for the ISMS implementation, implementation of ISMS, Monitoring and Measurement if ISMS, amongst others.
