Black Stars deputy captain and Swansea midfielder Andre Dede Ayew has been named EPL's August Player of the Month.
The accolade follows a month of outstanding performance which has seen Dede score three goals in four premier league matches and a breathtaking assist in a game against Manchester United.
Dede beat team mate Bafetimbi Gomis as well as Manchester City duo David Silva and Aleksandar Kolarov to the award.
The cultured left footed player moved to Swansea at the beginning of the season from French side Marseille and has since been a revelation.
He scored on his premier league debut against Chelsea and has since replicated a fine performance in subsequent matches.
His equaliser and assist were enough to hand Manchester United a painful defeat before the international break.
Swansea who are sitting in fourth place will play Crystal Palace on Saturday.
