Dede Ayew will have a new coach at his club Swansea after coach Garry Monk was sacked following a disappointing run of results.
The Welsh club have picked up just one point from their last five Premier League outings.
"The decision has been made very reluctantly and with a heavy heart," Swansea City Chairman, Huw Jenkins, told the club website.
"To find ourselves in our current situation from where we were in the first week of September, and considering the drop of performance levels and run of results over the last three months, it has brought us to this unfortunate decision today."
Monk captained the team before replacing Michael Laudrup as coach two seasons ago.
