The Ayew brothers, Jordan and Andre enjoyed a memorable start to 2012 as they now set their sights on the African Nations Cup with Ghana.
Both players on Saturday contributed three goals between them to help Olympique Marseille cruise to the last 32 in the French Cup, after winning 5-0 against third division side, Red Star.
Jordan grabbed a brace with his older brother, Andre, also on target.
With two Nations Cup campaigns already in the bag, Andre, says he hopes both club and country make good progress in their respective competitions as he together with Jordan, who is seeking his tournament debut prepare to leave for the Ghana camp in South Africa.
“We wanted to do the job before leaving and it’s done. We will follow our team-mates closely when we are away,” Andre told OM.net
”I hope they will win most of their games and that for the Nations Cup we go as far as possible and we will return to form.”
