Ghana midfielder Andre Dede Ayew has resumed light training after suffering an injury to the knee during the World Cup playoff clash against Egypt last month.
The injury sidelined the talented winger from playing for Olympic Marseille for at least ten games. But the Ghana international has responded well to treatment and has begun light training with his club.
His return will be a major boost to coach Jose Anigo's side who host Girondins Bordeaux on Sunday.
Being Olympic Marseille’s best player this season, Ayew’s absence was a big blow to the former French champions.
Les Phocéens lost five times, won twice and drew once during Ayew's absence.
Marseille are sixth on the French Ligue 1 log with 28 points.
