Ghana’s flagship and multiple-award-winning entertainment radio show, Daybreak Hitz, wins yet another award at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA.
The radio show, hosted on Hitz FM, won the 'Best Entertainment Radio Show' award at the fifth annual edition of the award show held on Saturday, 1st July 2023.
Daybreak Hitz outclassed other entertainment radio/TV shows like 3 Music’s ‘Culture Daily’, YFM’s ‘Dryve of Y’, TV3’s ‘Showbiz 360’ and ‘DateRush’, UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’, Joy FM’s ‘Showbiz A-Z’, Metro TV’s ‘Entertainment Review’, Adom FM’s ‘Entertainment Hall’ and ‘Ofie Kwanso’, 3FM’s ‘3FM Drive’, Accra FM’s ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’ and Angel FM’s ‘Angel Drive’.
The main host of Daybreak Hitz, Andy Dosty, also picked up the 'Best Entertainment Radio Personality' award. The Executive Producer of the same show, Mr. Haglah, also picked up the 'Best Radio Show Producer' award.
The event took place at the prestigious Merking Hall, Kauffman Music Centre in New York City.
The annual award show recognizes and celebrates the outstanding hard work and talent of media personalities, musicians, radio and TV shows, fashion stylists, and other entertainment brands in Ghana, Africa, and beyond.
The award scheme is bent on showcasing the profound talents and vibrant entertainment scene in Ghana and abroad.
Daybreak Hitz is hosted on Hitz FM every weekday between the hours of 5:50 am and 10:00 am.
