Residents of Abokobi, a suburb of Accra, were by themselves with shock last night when they discovered a newly born baby dumped in front of a house.
Occupants of the house say they were surprised because the incident was the first they had ever recorded in the area.
One resident, Elvis Adu Gyamfi, told Joy News the baby’s umbilical cord was still attached.
“The cord and everything is still there; they’ve not done anything,” a witness said.
The baby, draped in a cloth, has since been taken to a health facility in the area.
