Executive Director of Danquah Institute (DI), Richard Ahiagbah has paid a courtesy call on Ya-Na Abukari Mahama II, the overlord of Dagbon in Yendi.
The purpose of the visit was to congratulate him on his enskinment as the new overlord of the people of Dagbon as part of his three-day visit to pay homage to some traditional rulers in the Northern region.
Mr Ahiagbah who was accompanied by some staff of the Institute commended the Ya-Na for bringing hope to the people since his enskinment and promoting peace and unity among the people in the region.
He said, Gbewaa is noted for leading with ideas, and he called on all in the public policy space and in politics to emulate the politics of ideas.
Mr Ahiagbah added that Danquah Institute believes in the leadership of ideas to formulate policies that both build and liberate the energies of the people, especially the youth, for development.
An elated Ya-Na promised to support the Institute to ensure it fulfils its obligations by helping shape policies in the country.
He also presented Mr Ahiagbah with a beautiful smock for paying homage to him.
Mr Ahiagbah also presented a beautifully framed portrait of the Ya-Na embossed on a Danquah Institute logo to the Overlord for granting them an audience.
The Danquah Institute boss also paid a courtesy call on the Mion-Lana, Mahamadu Abdulai and Yoo Naa, Yakubu Abdulai V.
