Ghana midfielder Daniel Amartey put up an impressive display for Leicester as the Foxes defeated Swansea 2-1 at the King Power Stadium.
Amartey, who was starting only his first game of the season, paired up with Danny Drinkwater breaking up play and initiating attacks with seamless ease.
Italian coach, Claudio Ranieri, who has been tinkering with the second midfield slot alongside Drinkwater after starting Andy King and Mendy, seems to have the perfect partner for Drinkwater after Kante’s departure.
Amartey played an instrumental role in the Foxes opener putting in a well timed tackle before playing a one two with midfield partner Danny Drinkwater who sent a lovely weighted pass for Jamie Vardy.
An all-round display from Amartey, who displayed athleticism and combativeness in the middle of the park as the Foxes won only their first game of the season.
This was only the second start for Amartey since joining Leicester in January.
