Mr. Samuel Dzorkpe Nartey, Proprietor of Gameli International School at Kwamekrom has been elected Biakoye Constituency Chairman for the Convention Peoples Party at a constituency conference to elect a 13 member executive to run the affairs of the Party for the next four years.
Mr Nartey polled 59 votes to beat Mr Eric Dogbaza, a Teacher who polled 11 out of 70 eligible votes.
Mr Michael Kwame Darko took the first vice position unopposed with the second vice going to Mr Harrison Adjei.
Mr Kudu Fred was elected Secretary with Miss Valeria Ametepe as his Assistant.
The Constituency Organiser went to Mr Oheneba Konadu to be assisted by Mr Charles Aklate.
Madam Elizabeth Boateng and Beatrice Assam were elected Women Organiser and Assistant respectively with the Treasurer going to Madam Doris Odori.
The rest are Mr Fianu Gilbert, Youth Organiser, Mr Safui Abudakar, Assistant Youth Organiser and Mr Baffour Ankamah, Constituency Education Secretary.
Swearing the Executive Committee into office, Mr Vincent Norgbedzi, CPP Volta Regional Organiser advised the members to work hard to win more people especially youths into the Party.
