Highlife Artiste Krymi says although the Covid-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill and negatively impacted the livelihoods of some citizens, it presented brought to light some benefits too.
Speaking in an interview with JoyNews’ Fostina Sarfo, the 'Dede' hitmaker said the pandemic has opened doors to digital marketing.
For him, the marketing space was mostly ignored by some Ghanaian musicians so the advent of the pandemic revealed to songmakers that digital marketing is equally important as the traditional one.
“Shows were cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic and this caused us a lot because we couldn’t do a lot of things and not only musicians but every Ghanaian.
“But then again, it also gave us that spectrum to prioritise the sales of our music on the digital platform.
"And we realise that we can still push our songs through so it [Covid-19] did affect us but god gave us other venues to go around it and cope with it,” he said.
