Ghana currently has 1,817 active cases of the novel coronavirus.
According to the Ghana Health Service (GHS), 33 new infections were recorded as of October 23, 2021.
Out of the cases, 40 of them are severe with 13 patients in critical condition.
The Service's website put the who have died from the Covid-19 virus at 1,174.
So far, 130,041 cases have been confirmed since the country recorded its first two cases of the virus with 127,050 recoveries.
